AmeriHealth offers behavioral health care navigation services to help our members quickly connect with care that meets their specific needs. Our trained Behavioral Health team is available to:
- Assess and understand member’s needs and provide information about treatment options
- Identify in-network providers and directly connect members to care
- Provide in-the-moment support during tough times
- Connect members to the right resources to ensure the coordination of their physical and behavioral health needs, including AmeriHealth Case Management for ongoing support
Members should call the number on the back of their AmeriHealth ID card under Mental Health or 1-800-809-9954 to reach our Behavioral Health team.
Virtual behavioral health care providers*
AmeriHealth makes it easy for members to access behavioral health care. Members can have virtual visits by phone or video chat from the comfort of their homes or anywhere else convenient. Visits will be held with a licensed health care professional (including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners). Virtual visits are convenient, flexible, and completely confidential.

Grow Therapy
Grow Therapy offers both in-person and virtual talk therapy and medication management, focused on common mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and family/relationship issues. Grow Therapy offers scheduling capabilities to enable members to identify culturally aligned providers.

ThriveWorks
Thriveworks offers members in-person and virtual care, including talk therapy and medication management services.

Teladoc Mental Health Care
Teladoc offers virtual visits by phone or video with psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists for common mental health conditions such as stress, anxiety, grief, depression and more.

Mental Health Coaching by Teladoc Health
Members can strengthen their emotional well-being using the self-guided digital content from Mental Health Coaching by Teladoc Health, no matter where they are in their mental health journey. Mental Health Coaching offers personalized, evidence-based programs and dedicated support for a wide range of topics, including stress, depression, chronic pain, work-life balance, substance use, and anxiety.
