With one of the most expansive physician networks in New Jersey, AmeriHealth New Jersey wants to make sure you have easy ways to find a participating doctor or hospital. The Provider Finder lets you search for a participating doctor by name, location, or specialty. Find out where a doctor went to medical school, his or her board certification, and languages spoken. You can even view office hours and the hospitals where a physician has admitting privileges.

How to find a provider with the Regional Preferred Network

Here’s how to find a participating doctor, hospital, or other provider with the Regional Preferred Network:

  1. Visit the Provider Finder.
  2. Select a Provider Type.
  3. Refine your search by entering in applicable information.
  4. Select your options for Plan Preference and be sure to select the correct network plan.

How to find a provider with the Local Value Network

Selecting a network provider is important when enrolled in the Value Network. To avoid additional out-of-pocket expenses, you must choose a provider in the Local Value Network. Failing to do so will result in claims being processed as out-of-network. Here’s how to find a participating doctor, hospital, or other provider with the Local Value Network:

  1. Visit the Provider Finder.
  2. Select a Provider Type.
  3. Refine your search by entering in applicable information;.
  4. Select your options for Plan Preference and be sure to select a Local Value Network plan.

How to find a provider with the National Access Network if you live inside the AmeriHealth New Jersey Service Area

When accessing care in the AmeriHealth New Jersey service area, members with National Access must use the Regional Preferred Network. Here’s how to find a participating doctor, hospital, or other provider with the National Access Network:

  1. Visit the Provider Finder.
  2. Select a Provider Type.
  3. Refine your search by entering in applicable information.
  4. Select your options for Plan Preference and be sure to select the correct network plan.

How to find a provider with the National Access Network if you live outside the AmeriHealth New Jersey Service Area

The AmeriHealth New Jersey Service area includes all New Jersey and Delaware counties and nine Pennsylvania counties in the Philadelphia area*. Members living outside the AmeriHealth New Jersey service area have access to physicians, hospitals, facilities, and ancillary services throughout the continental United States. Here’s how to find a participating doctor, hospital, or other provider with the National Access Network:

  1. Visit the PHCS Provider Finder.
  2. Select the PHCS Network (PPO).
  3. Choose a Provider type and refine your search by entering in applicable information.

*The nine Pennsylvania counties in the AmeriHealth New Jersey Service Area include: Northampton, Lehigh, Bucks, Berks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, and Lancaster Counties
