To access and save electronic documents, you must have: (1) access to the internet through a current browser; (2) an e-mail account or mobile phone; and (3) the Adobe Acrobat application to view the EOBs, EOPs, Delay Notices and any other document in PDF.
Please Note (when selecting Text as your contact preference): We also offer our members the option of receiving certain member information by Short Message Service (SMS) or texting services (Text(s)). If you select to receive Texts as your contact preference, as applicable, we will send you information directly to your mobile phone. When selecting Text as your contact preference, please note message and data rates may apply from your carrier (e.g. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc.). You must be 18 years of age or older to use this service.
The paperless process is complete only after successful notification of an electronic document and/or notice is delivered to the e-mail address and/or mobile phone number you provided, as applicable. When paperless is NOT selected, you will be sent a hard copy in the mail.
When you sign up to receive electronic documents or notices, the following types of notices and documents are included:
You have the right to receive paper copies, such as any document or notice, at any time without charge. You can sign up to receive paper by logging on to your health plan's website as a member and updating your contact information, then changing the selection from the desired selection in your required communication preferences under Account Settings. You may also change your paperless option by calling the Member Service number on the back of your ID card. If your health plan coverage is terminated or otherwise cancelled, you will receive notice of and have access to this website and your electronic documents for up to six months following the termination or cancellation date.
You may call the Member Services number on the back of your ID card to request a paper form of any document sent electronically.
